[2] Take on me è una frase idiomatica che ha due significati: 1. Assumere, prendere in carica e 2. Take on someone = prendersela con qualcuno. Si opta per una “crasi” dei due significati: Prendimi con te. È bene specificare che il testo fu scritto da un giovane norvegese affascinato più dal suono delle parole che dal loro reale significato
[3] Il titolo può essere inteso sia letteralmente che metaforicamente: è sia il cielo azzurro ostile di un paese straniero in un luogo dove ci si sente soli e senza la persona amata, ma anche il nome di un bar/caffetteria “The Blue Sky” testimone di giorni più felici, ma ancora una volta ostile ed estraneo per l’assenza della persona amata.
